Experience the tranquillity of the Lowveld at our spacious Lion Caravan Stands & Camping, perfectly positioned within the peaceful surroundings of Hippo Waterfront Lodge. Whether you're travelling with a caravan, motorhome, RV, or rooftop tent, our well-maintained camping facilities offer the ideal base to relax, unwind, and reconnect with nature.
Each stand accommodates up to four guests and includes a private ablution facility and individual electrical point, ensuring comfort, convenience, and privacy throughout your stay. Please note that rooftop tents and RVs are regarded as caravans, and each occupies one stand. Shared stands and additional vehicles on the same stand are unfortunately not permitted.
Our beautifully maintained grounds, abundant birdlife, and regular visits from the resident hippos create a truly unique camping experience on the banks of the Crocodile River.

Day Visitors: All visitors to the caravan park and campsite are required to report to Reception upon arrival and are subject to the lodge's visitor policy.
